April 21 - Download your Final Exam here; please return it via e-mail by Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

April 14 - Your assignment for Friday at 5:00 p.m. is to do Problem 10-A on pp.267. For next Monday, please visit this link and write an essay about how public relations can impact the global digital divide.

April 7 - Read Chapter 10 for next week. By Friday at 5:00 p.m. write a paper based on Problem 9-A on pages 237-38. For next Monday your written assignment is Problem 9-B on p.238.

March 31 - Your written assignment is Problem 8-A on pp. 204-5; it is due at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Read Chapter 9 for next Monday and come to class with a suggested case study on crisis communications from recent news headlines.

March 24 - Download your Midterm Exam here; please return it to me by e-mail by Friday at 5:00 p.m. Your written assignments for next week are to read Case Study 7-3 (pp.156-161) and write an in-depth analysis of the case addressing the questions on p.161. Secondly, complete this exercise by referring to the four elements of a customer delight program on p.111. Also, read Chapter 8.

March 17 - By Friday at 5:00 p.m., write an analysis of Problem 4-B/Adjusting to a Change in Command on pp.74-75. For next week please write an in-depth analysis of Case Study 5-4 (pp.98-104). Where did Texas Gulf Sulphur go wrong in its PR strategy? How could the company have handled the situation differently? Could such a case of insider trading happen in 2014? Also, read through Chapter 7.

March 10 - By Friday at 5:00 p.m., submit a written analysis of Problem 3-A/What Price "Good" Employee Relations on pages 47-8 of your textbook. Apply the various concepts we've covered in class to explain how you would handle the situation at Safeplay. For next Monday complete this exercise on the Race Model and this exercise on Case Study 3-1, Southwest Airlines. Also, read through Chapter 5.

March 3 - You have two written assignments. Read the biographies of Ivy Ledbetter Lee and Edward Bernays, then summarize their major philosophies and what made them different from each other. Submit this assignment by e-mail on Friday at 5:00 p.m. For next Monday prepare a list of internal and external publics for Mount Washington College; be sure to include all of the stakeholders you can think of. Also, read Chapter 2.
